It’s getting all Christmassy on The Look List lately and I’ve compiled a Christmas Gift Guide which hopefully should cover most of the people you need to buy for!
I love buying presents for other people so I really enjoyed creating these and have tried to include a mix of both budget and more luxury items to suit all price ranges.
I usually like to buy one ‘main’ present and the rest stocking fillers or smaller items so hopefully you find this guide useful with the variety of items. I’ve split the categories into Him and Her list’s with ideas that can relate to brother/boyfriend/dad and mum/sister/friend.
I remember receiving Snow Fairy in a Lush gift box years ago (along with Rock Star soap – another favourite) and have been hooked ever since. I always buy some around Christmas time when they start selling them again and I think a bottle of this amazing stuff would make a welcome stocking filler or gift.
Starting from £3.75 makes it a very affordable gift too. The candy floss scent is absolutely divine and I have never smelt anything like this before – if you haven’t yet smelt Snow Fairy yet, then I would suggest going into your nearest Lush and having a smell as it’s just amazing!
How adorable is this Limited Edition Coca Cola OPI gift set?! I think this would make such a lovely gift and I love how it is presented in the Christmas gift box too.
The red and white glitter polish (with heart-shaped glitter pieces) is such a festive colour and the cuddly bear toy is a cute little addition – making it a really unique and special gift for someone.
I love knit hats for winter – especially ones with cute faux fur pompoms like this! This would make a lovely gift for someone who loves wearing hats in winter and at £7.99 I think that’s a great price too (although I’d be tempted to keep this for myself!).
This is a lovely make-up brush set with an inside zip pocket for extra storage. I think it would make a great gift for a young teenage sister as a first make-up brush set.
I love this mini palette containing products for ‘on the go’ touch ups. At £25 it’s a great price for a quality item and would make an ideal gift for a beauty addict.
All the shades are really wearable and the palette contains two gorgeous lip colours (a pink-brown and a muted pink), a mini High Shimmer Lip Gloss (neutral plum) and three light to dark eye-shadows (champagne, creamy-white cement and black chocolate).
This beautiful Jo Malone cologne (30ml), hand and body wash (100ml) and body crème (50ml) gift set would make the perfect luxury gift for someone really special.
I think if you have a big present to buy for someone, then I don’t think you can get any more luxurious than a Jo Malone gift set and this one is just beautiful.
I think make-up bags are an ideal gift for someone, especially if you are not sure what to buy them as a lovely new make-up bag is always a welcome gift.
I couldn’t choose between these two so have included both! I love things with initials on them and the Alphabet bag is really unique and classy and I love the grey colour with contrasting yellow zip. It would make a lovely personalised gift.
The cat make-up bag is adorable and comes with an eye-mask too, which makes this a lovely gift.
You can always rely on Ted Baker for beautiful, stylish designs and this floral print is simply stunning.
You can’t go wrong buying slippers as a Christmas present and these Toms slippers are lovely and look super cosy. They are also for a great cause too with their ‘One for One’ initiative – making these an ideal gift for more than one reason.
I love the colour of this and I think it’s a really stylish and timeless piece. It’s also reversible with grey on the other side so it will go with everything.
The most amazing fragrance for men in my opinion! A little bit pricey, but worth it as a luxury present!
If your boyfriend/dad/brother is obsessed with gadgets, then the Fitbit will make an amazing Christmas present. It tracks steps, distance and calories burned during the day, and at night it tracks sleep quality and wakes you up gently in the morning.
It’s a really cool gadget for those who prefer more technology gifts rather than clothes/shoes for Christmas. It looks really stylish too and comes in a variety of colours. My boyfriend loves his as it’s such an easy way to keep up with fitness goals and gives you that extra motivation to stay on track.
Nike Blazers are such a classic and these grey suede ones will look great with everything.
What guy doesn’t love getting a new wallet for Christmas?! My boyfriend loves Fossil wallets and I have bought him a few since being together, they are amazing quality and this particular one has loads of compartments for cards and a zip compartment for change. This would also make a great gift for your dad as well.
I love this stylish wash bag and it’s such a bargain at £15 and it looks really good quality. It’s not something that a guy would usually buy for himself either, so it would make a really lovely but useful present.
I obviously had to put some Christmas socks in the mix, always a great little stocking filler and novelty gift!
I think this card holder would be a great stocking filler, as it’s probably not something a guy would buy for himself if he already has a wallet and I think card holders are perfect for taking the essentials on a night out rather than a bulky wallet.
I think this is a great novelty gift for any fans of Breaking Bad – I actually like this for myself!
I love Moleskine notebooks and diaries and I think they are such a lovely present to give to someone. This pocket notebook would be perfect to take to work and it’s such a classic design. I bought my dad one for his birthday and he loves it.
I think any kind of novelty mug makes a great Christmas present and this mug set would be ideal for any comic book fan. It’s actually really great value too as you get two mugs in the set and its presented in a DC Comics gift box.
Hope you found this gift guide helpful and it’s given you some idea’s for Christmas presents!
