Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter has been my body lotion of choice for years now, and even when I’ve tried other lotions and creams in the past; I always end up going back to this.
In my opinion it just can’t be rivalled for it’s super absorbency and moisturising benefits – and it also smells absolutely amazing!
I’ve always had the body butter form in the 300ml tub, but for a change I decided to try the lotion instead. It’s still The Righteous Body Butter but in a lotion instead of cream and in a more handy, convenient pump bottle.
When I bought it I hoped it would have the same smell, absorbency and be just as moisturising as the body butter; as I much preferred the packaging of this one.
I just find having body lotion in a pump bottle so much more convenient and makes me use it more; I’ll just have it on my dressing table to use quickly and find it less messy than scooping cream from a tub.
I was so happy to find that it’s the same gorgeous smell which I love, and it moisturises beautifully! I just love how Soap and Glory products smell and leave a lasting scent on the skin throughout the day.
I’ve tried so many body lotions in the past, but as I said before, literally nothing beats this for me – for how quickly it absorbs into the skin without leaving any greasy or sticky feeling.
I can literally get dressed within less than a minute of applying this and it leaves my skin so soft and actually keeps it feeling smooth all day!
I’m trying to get into the habit of putting body lotion on everyday and since I’ve gone back to using this, I’ve definitely been sticking to that – it sinks in quickly so doesn’t take time waiting for it to be absorbed before you can get dressed.
It’s especially great for elbows and heels which always need a little more help keeping soft and smooth, but I notice within a few days of using this that they stay smooth and well moisturised.
It contains so many great ingredients that help condition and soften the skin; shea butter, almond oil, aloe vera, vitamin E and rosehip seed to name a few and my skin stays well moisturised all day after using this.
The Righteous Butter Body Lotion is by far my absolute favourite body lotion and although at first glance paying £10 for body lotion seems steep, I would definitely say that this particular lotion is so worth it!
It’s also a 500ml bottle so will last ages, and for me, nothing comes close to this!
