I say it every time I’m writing my monthly favourites, but just how quickly is this year going?! May is my birthday month and I’ve just come back from holiday, so its been a pretty good month for me and I wanted to share some of the products that I’ve been loving and using a lot throughout May.
One product that I’ve been using loads of and actually quite sad about as its almost ran out, is my Chloe perfume.
It’s one of my all time favourite fragrances and lately I’ve been wearing it loads and now only have probably a few sprays left of it!
It’s such a classic and beautiful scent which has great lasting power and it’s one of those fragrances that people always notice you’re wearing!
It has a rich, floral scent which is rich enough that it’s long lasting but without being overbearing.
I love fragrances that you can really notice you’re wearing and don’t fade throughout the day and Chloe EDP is the perfect example of that. I don’t have to re-spray this throughout the day and can still smell it on me by the evening — a sign of a great fragrance!
I love bareMinerals eyeshadows and one that I’ve been particularly loving using lately is Celestine. It’s a gorgeous shade of silver-grey with shimmery particles in it which I think make it the ideal summer eyeshadow.
Its been lovely to use on holiday and I wore it alone as a wash of shimmery colour to brighten and open the eyes, but then teamed it with a darker colour in the crease and outer lid to create a beautiful smokey-eye for the evenings.
Pink is probably my favourite nail colour and I love all shades of it — from pale baby-pinks to really bright pinks! I’ve been really loving the Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Dragon Fruit as it’s such a girly pink and I find it a really flattering shade. I love the Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paints as they dry so quickly and stay on for ages without chipping.
I love wearing bracelets and silver is my favourite colour for jewellery, but when I saw this delicate bracelet from River Island ages ago there was just something about it that I loved.
It’s so delicate and small but at the same time stands out on the wrist, and although it’s not silver, I still find it looks lovely mixed between some delicate silver pieces or just worn alone as a little statement piece.
I’ve already wrote a post on my favourite bareMinerals skincare products so I wont go into too much detail with this, but the skincare item I’ve been loving lately is the bareMinerals Purely Nourishing Moisturiser.
It’s a great moisturiser for my sometimes sensitive skin and it’s just a really gentle product. It hydrates well and leaves my skin soft and free from dryness.
What products have you been loving using for the past month?
