I went to a bareMinerals event last week and had a lovely evening of eating, drinking and trying on new products. I obviously couldn’t leave without making a few purchases seeing as bareMinerals is my absolute favourite make-up brand!
The evening was lovely and we were given these gorgeous cupcakes which just looked too good to eat!
I saw so many things I wanted but was trying to be good and not spend loads! But I had two things on my list that I knew I definitely needed to get as I’d ran out of them, so I bought a new face wash and stocked up on my favourite bronzer.
I have two favourite bronzers from bareMinerals — Warmth All-Over Face Color and The Skinny Dip Ready Bronzer. I love them both as they really suit pale skin tones, but I decided to go back to The Skinny Dip which I’d ran out of a while ago.
I just find it handy as it’s a pressed-powder compact rather than a loose powder like Warmth. I still love Warmth but The Skinny Dip is just a lot more convenient for getting ready in the mornings when I just need to quickly sweep some bronzer on.
It’s a golden-bronze which gives a gorgeous warm glow to the face and I think it’s the perfect bronzer for pale skin tones like mine.
I like wearing bronzer but have to be careful as they’re usually too dark for me, but this one is just the right shade which gives a natural sunkissed look but is also buildable if you want it a little more noticeable.
It’s a silky smooth formula which blends so easily, I just find it lovely to use as I can just dust it around my face and it gives a really natural, radiant, bronze glow and is the perfect finishing touch to my make-up routine. I just find I can’t go wrong with this bronzer, it’s the perfect shade and applies so well.
I love bareMinerals face washes and I’m currently using the last drops of the Purifying Facial Cleanser, which I love, but decided to go back to another favourite that I first used a few years ago.
I bought the Deep Cleansing Foam which is the just the most creamy/foamy face wash I’ve ever used! I do still love the Purifying Facial Cleanser but wanted to go back to this for a bit of a change.
It’s such a foamy cleanser which lathers so much with only a tiny bit of product which makes it last absolutely ages. It’s a non-drying formula and is so lovely to use as it really does foam up into a rich lather — less is definitely more with this product, but that’s a good thing as it lasts ages!
It feels so creamy and makes your skin feel squeaky clean afterwards like it’s had a really deep cleanse but without drying it out. I love bareMinerals skincare products but I have to say this is an absolute favourite and I’m so glad I’ve started using it again!
